My inspiration for design comes from what the world allows me to see and experience.

Megan Frank, Allied ASID

About Me

Megan Frank received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design, which was ranked in the top ten interior design schools in the United States by the Almanac of Architecture and Design.  It has always been dream and a goal to open her own interior design firm in January 2011 she was able to make it a reality.  Megan is licensed with the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).  She is also a member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and IIDA (International Interior Design Association).

Megan’s passion for design was evident at a young age, always observing how people reacted within a space and how color affects our lives.  Megan was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago; a city known for it’s distinguished architectural past, present and future.  She was fascinated by the grand skyscrapers and how they came to be, studying and understanding the construction documents her father brought home as a pipe fitter at age twelve.  While in high school she was exposed to several advanced art and architecture classes, receiving a degree in interior design was an easy decision for Megan, a balanced combination of architecture and art.

After graduating from Harrington, Megan worked for a high-end residential interior design firm in Chicago, where she designed a wide range of spaces from kitchen and bath remodels, to new living spaces,  new home building and many more.  Megan moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion and expand her knowledge in interior design.  There she worked for a luxury level interior design firm that specialized in international residences spreading from the United Kingdom to the Middle East.

Megan’s style can be described as transitional, not traditional and not overly modern.  Yet through her experiences she is very comfortable adapting her style to fit all of her clients. Her style of both modern and classic, an ideal mix of old and new that is forever timeless. Reluctant to define herself by one certain look (or place), one thread runs common throughout all her projects: an impeccable attention to details. Considering the architectural bones of each project is a source of pride. Megan works closely with all clients to ensure their vision is executed seamlessly. Her obsession of details shines through in every completed project, sometimes she is known as an easy-going perfectionist.

Now relocated back to the Chicago-land area, Megan is ready to share her designs with the Midwest, while still maintaining clients in Los Angeles.  Megan currently lives in Deerfield, Illinois with her loving and supportive husband.
